Garlic (Allium satium) is belonging to the Amaryllidaceae family. It is the oldest known horticultural crop and the second most important bulb crop after onion. Historical records suggest that garlic has been cultivated for at least 5000 years ago and was found in ancient China, India and Egypt. Garlic plants can grow about 2 feet tall, long leaves typically arise from a short hard stem above the bulb or emerge from a softer pseudostem made up of overlapping leaf sheaths.

Garlic powder bulb is covered with multiple edible small bulbs or bulblets called cloves. There are about 10 to 20 cloves in a single bulb. Direction of Use
